Elkhorn Logan Valley Public
Health Department is pleased to announce that Tai Chi classes are set to begin Monday,

Chi is a form of exercise that assists with flexibility and balance. It puts minimal stress on joints, is
generally safe for people of all ages, and is especially beneficial for those
sixty years of age or older. Outcomes from past classes show that 85% of
the participants improved their Timed Up and Go (TUG) mobility and fall risk
test score from the first to the final class.
We invite you to take part in the upcoming Tai Chi class
series that will begin on Monday, May 22, 2017. Class will be held every Monday
& Friday for 12 weeks (through 7/11/17) from 10:30am – 11:30am at the Senior
Center, Decatur. Peggy Knights &
Katherine Mussack will be co-instructors and the classes are free will donation
